Welcoming a new baby into the world is one of life's most precious moments. Newborn photography allows you the chance to preserve those forever. How many pictures will we receive?
You have the option of a 10 image or a 20 image package. You can purchase extra after the session if you would like.
How should we dress for our newborn session?
Solid neutrals is best to keep the focus on babies sweet new features and not your clothes.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
We shoot between 5-14 days old. After the 14 day mark we only do wrapped mini sessions. (Not valid for NICU babies)
How many sets are there?
I do on average 7-10 sets. I base the sets and colors off your nursery and home style.
I have other kids I would like to be in the pictures.
I LOVE sibling shots, they're always some of my favorites. We do ask either siblings leave after the family portion, or split the session in 2 and do baby one day and family on a weekend.
When should I book my newborn session?
The best time to book your newborn session is at 20-30 weeks gestation. We only accept 5 babies per month so booking early guarantees your spot in our calendar.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring 3 pumped bottles of milk, 3 formula bottles, or nurse on demand at the studio. Baby can be extra hungry this day with all the moving and changing positions so extra milk can put them into a deep sleepy snooze for our session.
Do you have supplies needed for the session?
I have everything from outfits, to wraps, to props, backdrops, headbands, bonnets, lovies, flowers, fluffy furs! After 15 years we have accumulated so very much!
Where do we have the session?
My home studio is in Anchorage AK on JBER. We have a huge home studio with comfy seating, snack/drink bar and you can see your baby at all times in here.
